As the forecast for the French economy suggests a rapid deterioration following the recent Presidential Election; so New Socialist incumbent, Francois Hollande, like all left wingers, promises to soak the rich, along with a reduction to 60 years for retirement age. We have pointed out previously, that this can't possibly go down well with the Germans, whose pension age has gone the other way, giving a difference of seven years.
Well let us see what the next left winger, Barack Obama, due to go to the polls, promises, other than his considerable overspending and borrowing, which is putting the USA at a troublesome disadvantage on the 'world stage'. He is certainly pursuing a policy of hustling troops out of Afghanistan. I can understand the reason for bringing the service personnel home; nevertheless, they are being treated as political pawns. Much has been written in the press regarding Mitt Romney's comments, identifying the section of society that won't vote for his policies, wishing to stick with Obama's 'big giveaway society'. What's wrong with pointing out the truth.
Some readers may well be aware of the 'on line' piece: Bill Cosby, 'I'm 83 and I'm tired'. It may or may not be the work of Bill Cosby, but whoever is responsible, is right on the money.
TO YOU AMERICANS, AVOID A WELFARE STATE, THE COST IS ENORMOUS.
